        First Liuzhou E-commerce Culture Festival opens

        Recently, the first Liuzhou E-commerce Culture Festival, jointly sponsored by the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the People’s Government of Liuzhou Municipality, opened at the Liuzhou Home Building Materials Expo Center.

        In recent years, Liuzhou City has regarded e-commerce as an important means to accelerate industrial transformation and upgrading. It has accelerated the construction of commercial parks, steadily developed new forms of e-commerce such as live-streaming e-commerce and cross-border e-commerce, and used e-commerce to empower characteristic industrial products such as engineering machinery and new energy vehicles, as well as local specialty agricultural products such as Liuzhou river snails rice noodles and Rong’an kumquats to expand international markets, injecting strong momentum for high-quality economic development. The first Liuzhou E-commerce Culture Festival was splendid and diverse. It not only invited many well-known domestic e-commerce companies to participate in forums for keynote speeches or project signing, but also collaborated with major live-streaming platforms for online live-streaming promotions, inviting well-known internet celebrities to conduct live-streaming marketing on site. In addition, dozens of well-known local enterprises and industry representatives appeared with over a hundred “brand-name, high-quality, new and special” products, exhibiting local specialty foods and arts and crafts with a strong “Liuzhou style”.
